Recycled paper is made from used paper (purchased used paper which means paper purchased by paper manufacturers after being used and collected). Used paper's ratio in recycled paper is now 30% to 100%. In Japan, recycled paper has a long history originated in "sukikaeshi", handmade Japanese paper in the Heian Era. It is now widely used in machine-made paper field, and thereby technology of waste paper deinking which is leveraged by paper manufacturers has been developed to utilize as recycled paper.
